“One Hand Forward – One Hand Back”

The Cookie Foundation is the heart and soul of our work.  We believe that you should always be setting new goals, gaining more knowledge, and evolving as you move through life (one hand forward). We also believe that you should always reach back to see who you can pull along and take with you on your journey (one hand back).

We are proud to support individuals and organizations that are doing good work to make a difference in our communities and the lives of others.

Meet the amazing Costanza family. You will want to take a moment to read more about their story & mission in the note they sent me below & by checking out their Facebook page Warrior Family Books For NICU.
We said yes, yes, yes to join them for their next book drive with a donation of 25 copies of Good To Be Me – The Coloring Book. You can join in too for the 9/9/2024 delivery to Tufts Medical Center NICU by visiting their page & checking out their wish list.
Joe, Adrianna & Anthony thank you for your extraordinary efforts & the wonderful impact you are having on so many families. We LOVE that your keep putting GOOD out into our world.

Hello RA,
We’ve donated over 2,000 books to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Tufts Medical Center. We started off donating baby books and now we are also donating coloring books and crayons. My family & I have been asking for donations of new coloring books for the brothers/sisters of the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for hospitals in Boston. Would you consider donating some of your coloring books to the Warrior Family Books for NICU? Our next delivery will be to Tufts Medical Center’s NICU Sept 9th.
Our miracle baby Anthony Francis was born on May 7th 2020 at 4:41pm weighing at 1lbs 9oz. He stayed in the Brigham NICU for 4 months. Each time that we went to visit Anthony, we would always read him a book. The doctors and nurses said that even though he was so tiny Anthony could hear our voices and that by reading to him it would be a way for all of us to bond. We would love to help give this opportunity to the families that have a baby or babies in the NICU to bond together during a very difficult time.

RA Cook was thrilled to be one of the authors asked to do a video testimonial for this Read A Thon – One For The Books – benefiting Habitat for Humanity. It is open to everyone in the Hampden County footprint and a great way to encourage summer reading.

June 2024 - Think Of Michael Foundation

RA Cook is a proud supporter of the Think of Michael foundation.  This June, RA along with her sister, niece,  cookie cousins & dearest friends gathered in Boston for a wonderful evening & impressive event. We laughed, played trivia, & supported the great work of the Think of Michael foundation. They are tackling our epidemic of individuals & families battling substance abuse disorder and they are making a big impact.

GTBM Book Donation

It was a pleasure to stop by the Ronald McDonald House in Jacksonville  to meet with Harriet Tambini, Volunteer Manager and donate a dozen copies of Good To Be Me for children & families staying there.
The work they do here is so amazing and we love supporting them. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Jacksonville supports the health and well-being of children by providing lodging, meals, transportation and a community of care to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a hospital for treatment.

February 2023 - Hosted Dinner

Cookie Productions was proud to host a dinner for the families at the Ronald McDonald House. We chose the wonderful Leone’s Italian Restaurant in Springfield MA as our caterer. The families were able to enjoy salad, Italian bread, penne pomodoro, penne & broccoli, meatballs, and cannoli.

Dinner OMG – dinner smells delicious and looks out of this world yummy!  Just had to share immediately. Thank you! One family ‘helped’ me get all the items ready.  She told me if she helped, she could dig in quicker as she skipped lunch today. She is currently enjoying it with her family and also told me she would be back for seconds. Our deep appreciation for your generosity.

My company Cookie Productions is a proud donor for The Trees of Hope benefiting The Ronald McDonald House. You can purchase raffle tickets to win #48 Santa’s Treasures~Sweets & Scratch Tickets or any of the beautiful trees and prizes online at https://rmhsp.ourraffle.org/ Last year this event raised over $126,000 for The Ronald McDonald House of Western Massachusetts which serves children and families seeking treatment at Baystate & Shriners Children’s Hospital. You can also see the trees in person at Gary Rome in Holyoke until 11/18/22.

September 2022 - Pantry Food Drive

The call went out and Cookie Productions answered. The Ronald McDonald House in Jacksonville, Florida shared their snack pantry was getting bare. Families staying there are accommodating medical treatments and more and must come and go at all different hours. A well-stocked pantry helps with those busy days and nights. We sent Frito Lay snack bags, Grandma’s Cookies, Goldfish, Pringles & popcorn. We continue to be impressed by these brave families.
